Dr. Zainab Farooqui is an Allergist and Immunologist who is dedicated to providing personalized care for adults and children with a wide spectrum of allergic and immunologic diseases. She completed her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at St. Louis University and her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Louisville. She treats the full range of allergic and immunologic conditions, including environmental allergies, allergic skin diseases such as eczema and hives, food allergies, and asthma. Dr. Farooqui is passionate about providing evidence-based care that helps her patients find hope, relief, and an improved quality of life.

    • Food allergies — Family-centered management, food challenges, and oral immunotherapy

    • Asthma — From mild intermittent to severe persistent

    • Eczema and atopic dermatitis — Consider newest treatments starting at 6 months old but also looking at triggers to include patch testing for contact allergens

    • Environmental allergies — From pollen to pets and considering desensitization with sublingual or shots
